Male skin is considered to be 25% thicker than female skin and, therefore, has more elasticity (thanks to elastin and collagen fibers in the skin). This is why male skin ages more slowly than female skin. But when the skin actually starts aging wrinkles and fine lines are more pronounced more quickly.
However, skin types do not differ between men and women. Whether you suffer from acne or you have a combo or dehydrated skin, these are skin types and conditions appearing similarly in both men and women. That is why we decided to create a line of products that adapts to all genders.
Tip for men: choose a skincare routine that will protect your skin from the irritation caused by shaving.
This little guide wouldn’t be complete without addressing skin aging (blog post coming soon). Mature skin is not a skin type but rather a natural skin process. Nevertheless, when choosing your skincare routine, look for products containing hyaluronic acid, ceramides, collagen, peptides, coenzyme Q10, linseed and skin protective herbs and plant oils.
